The phase of it that we live in is where we see the internet hitting
critical mass based on the availability of web connectivity on mobile devices.
Data is widely available, and the costs continue to decrease at an alarming rate.
We’re seeing the disruption this is causing already, from businesses to consumers,
and within the political structures of entire countries.

INASP which aimed at building the capacity of developmental
workers in the Upper East region to be able to write effective
evidenced based policy briefs and also equip them with
presentation skills to enable them influence policies in the country.

for example with their Mobile Cinema (trycycle, beamer, laptop,
mobile screen and small generator) to educate rural villages

Mara Abrams wanted to demonstrate the power of the mobile
phone as a simple, accessible, and wide-reaching storytelling
tool for the developing world. The Touch Foundation, an NGO
that builds Tanzania’s capacity to train community members
as health workers, came to her team to produce videos that would
champion their cause.
