Ghana: Mobile Technology for Global Health

In Ghana, the Grameen Foundation is using mobile applications to improve the quality of 
maternal health and childcare. With the MOTECH Mobile Midwife program, pregnant women 
can register and receive voice messages that provide reliable advice for a healthy pregnancy. 
Smartphones are also used to record health services delivered.
